MSI X400

MSI has just announced the MSI X400, a super-slim, affordable addition to its X-Slim range for those who need the power of a laptop in the portability of a netbook.
Following on from the larger X600, the X400 weighs in a just 1.5kg and closes down to 9mm at its thinnest point. It’ll offer up a 14-inch HD 16:9 widescreen display for letterbox-free movie viewing, a hard drive up to 500GB for all manner of storage requirements, 2GB memory and HDMI, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity.

There are also 2 USB ports, a card reader and built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam included as well.

Available this month, the X400 starts from £499 for a 320GB HDD and no optical drive, while it’ll be £569 for the full 500GB HDD complete with external optical drive.

If you’re style conscious on a budget, this certainly seems a good choice.
